Standard Full size Olympic Plates but with a much lighter weight allowing much easier transitions to heavier lifts with correct form using actual bumper plates. This enables beginners, kids, rehab athletes and form learners to practice their starting lift movements from the proper height off the ground.
Made up of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic, these Technique Plates come in weights of 2.5kg and 5kg and standard 450mm diameter. It features raised lip around the circumference for an easy grip enabling anyone to load and unload comfortably. These plates are compatible with 50mm diameter barbells (Olympic bars) and are colour coded for easy identification.
Although made from durable hard plastics, technique plates are not meant to drop from shoulder height and above. For long-lasting performance, they should ideally be used indoors on rubber flooring.
